I started working with Swamp Fitness around the end of September. In these past four months my life has altered drastically in two main areas. My personal trainer has spent countless hours with me in the gym, walking me through different exercises to increase both my strength and cardiovascular capacity. Something I really appreciate is my trainer's ability to balance pushing me to lift more and go longer when I don’t think I have anything left in the tank, with listening when something is sore or painful and knowing when to move on or modify a workout. The other facet that has improved is my diet and nutrition. Swamp Fitness offers substantial insight into what foods are good and help facilitate weight loss and what must be absolutely avoided. All told in my time working with Swamp Fitness, I have lost almost 40 pounds and dropped three pant sizes. But more important than the results, what I appreciate about my trainer the most is the attitude that was brought to our relationship. I’m not just a project or ‘another day at the office’, my personal trainer genuinely cares about my physical and mental state through each step of this process and celebrates each of my successes as his own. This trainer/client arrangement has turned into a friendship that I deeply value and look forward to continuing for years to come.
